Royal Academy of Arts - Eco-Visionaries exhibition
Exhibitions manager reference Jan 2021:
I appointed Project Jellyfish for a special project at the Royal Academy of Arts. As part of the temporary exhibition Eco-Visionaries, Ruth and Dennis supervised the planning, sourcing, installation, maintenance, technical support and decommissioning of an AV-interactive Moon Jellyfish display. Their support in the planning of this ambitious artwork was key to the success of the entire exhibition. The RA team had no prior experience in aquarium design and installation or the sourcing and care of livestock. Ruth and Dennis provided essential skills and guidance throughout as well as exemplary documentation, RAMS, equipment lists and practical advice. Their daily attendance on site was vital to ensuring the safety of the livestock. We had no issues throughout the running of the installation and the project remained within budget. It was a very sad day when we bid the jellies and Project Jellyfish goodbye after a very memorable run! Their professionalism, friendly advice and humour on site are sorely missed within the team and we hope to have another aquarium project in the future - we know who to call!
