Run by qualified Marine Biologists - we will bring live species for fascinating and question sparking educational sessions.                    

We will identify the parts of the jellyfish, how they move, feed and sting.

You will identify the anatomy of a seahorse looking at what the outside and inside looks like.

You will find out more about different jellyfish and seahorse species from around UK waters to over-seas and how you can help to keep our oceans clean and protected.

We will talk in depth about the jellyfish life cycle identifying the different stages, We will take a close look at the polyps, ephyrae and medusa.

We will identify the male and female seahorses and talk about how the male gives birth to the juveniles.                                                         

We will look at how we care for our animals including tank set-up, water parameters and the nitrogen cycle.

Using magnifying glasses and test tubes you can get a close-up view of the jellyfish polyps and the live food. You will learn about what they eat and how they reproduce.

See how the seahorses feeds snapping at the shrimp and using their adaptations to move within the water.

We can tailor make talks to any age group from KS1 & KS2 to more in depth secondary school, University or any business that would like to have a educational session  We are DBS checked and will provide public liability insurance.
